Tribute to Nikos Galanis
The 2026 MINOOS NYX sculpture will be awarded to Nikos Galanis in recognition of his major and longstanding contribution to culture, social life and community empowerment within Deaf communities, as well as his wider contribution to inclusive cultural and social life.
The tribute celebrates his contribution to strengthening the visibility, participation and recognition of Deaf people and to promoting culture as a bridge for inclusion, communication and social connection.
ZANES AWARD

Tania Keramida: Recognition of Excellence in Para Sport
The 2026 ZANES sculpture will be awarded to Tania Keramida, a distinguished Paralympic athlete in classical sports, in recognition of her commitment to social solidarity, outstanding sporting achievements, dedication and perseverance, and her significant contribution to promoting the visibility and advancement of Para sport and inclusive participation in sport.
